"Hakuba GRIND!" will be held on the Nagiyama slope at Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Over 130 riders will gather to compete in high-level tricks
"Hakuba GRIND!" is the largest rail jam event in the history of the Hakuba Happo-one area. 35 invited guest riders from Japan and abroad will compete against around 100 regular riders on a specially constructed rail section
The categories are divided into three: "Grom (under 13 years old)," "Girls," and "Opens," and a fierce battle is expected with a total prize pool of 500,000 yen up for grabs. The winner will receive an original trophy and their name will be engraved in the history of Hakuba's freestyle scene
The appeal of this event is not just the competition aspect, but also that the entire venue will be transformed into an entertainment space. On the day, Red Bull energy cars will be on display, and music by a live DJ will liven up the excitement in the venue
After the event, an official after-party will be held at Blizzard from 9 pm. Riders, DJs, and spectators will all come together to celebrate the success of the event, making the night in Hakuba even more exciting
