Hoshino Resorts' "OMO by Hoshino Resorts" operates 17 hotels nationwide, described as "exciting city-center hotels." These
new-concept hotels are created in collaboration with local communities by staff who deeply love the cities they serve, allowing guests to discover unexpected charms and, before they know it, fall in love with the city itself.
This time, we will introduce three recommended OMOs in Hokkaido that have good access to ski resorts
OMO content that skiers and snowboarders will love
OMO WAX BAR

The Snow Wax Bar is equipped to handle a wide range of snow temperatures, from +15°C to -30°C. If the skiing gets rough during an extended stay, you can quickly wax the slopes
Ski drying room

There is a space where you can thoroughly dry your skis and boots, so you can store your gear in good condition during your stay
Slope Information Map

You can check the map for information on nearby slopes at OMO. It also includes the latest information on temperature, snow depth, and more. You can check the conditions for the day before heading out
OMO7 Asahikawa by Hoshino Resorts
: "Asahikawa Declares Itself a Ski City"
OMO7 Asahikawa, which is easily accessible to Furano and Biei, will hold the "Asahikawa Ski City Declaration" and carry out various initiatives
First launch of "Mountain City Pub" where you can casually drop in after skiing

We've launched our first "Mountain City Pub," a casual après-ski spot. We'll be selling food served on plates designed to look like snowboards. There will be OMO Rangers (*), local guides who are knowledgeable about Asahikawa's cuisine, so dropping by and asking for advice on where to go for après-ski is one of the unique pleasures of the "Mountain City Pub."
*A guide who will take you to their favorite spots and places only locals know about, just like a friend you'll meet on your travels.
"Ski Resort Live Camera" allows you to check the ski resort conditions in real time

A "ski resort live camera" has been installed on the first floor of OMO7 Asahikawa, allowing guests to see the ski resort conditions in real time. Guests can check the conditions of five ski resorts, including "Kamui Ski Links" and "Santa Present Park." Guests can instantly check the snow accumulation and wind direction at each ski resort, making it possible to plan which ski resort to visit without leaving the hotel. In addition, the "Today's Powder Information" broadcast every morning uses this live camera to provide more detailed information on the conditions at each ski resort
Other amenities include a "Snow Gear Stand Room" where you can store your favorite gear in your room, and a free shuttle bus service to the nearby "Kamui Ski Links" and "Pippu Ski Resort," allowing you to enjoy a fulfilling ski trip from OMO7 Asahikawa
OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts
: "Enjoy the après-ski experience to the fullest at the illuminated Otaru Night Lounge"

Located in the heart of Otaru, Hokkaido, "OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts" boasts an excellent location with access to six ski resorts, including Kiroro Snow World.
While the choice of ski resort depends on your mood, the resort also offers plenty of après-ski activities. The hotel, housed in a renovated historical building, hosts the "Illuminated Otaru Night Lounge," where oil lamps illuminate the space and antique music boxes are played live.
Illuminated Otaru Night Lounge

Located on the third floor of the South Wing, a renovated historic building, "OMO Cafe & Bar" is available as a free lounge.
After 9 PM, oil lamps are lit, and live music is played on antique music boxes made over 100 years ago. The
music box plays every 30 minutes, and the complimentary flavored water enjoyed in this classic setting makes for a wonderful evening in Otaru.

"Après-Ski Apero Set" available exclusively to guests staying at the hotel

If you want to enjoy staying up late even more, we recommend the "After-Ski Apero Set" available exclusively to guests at Flair Bar es, a bar near the Susukino intersection. Enjoy salmon jerky and an original cocktail inspired by the slopes while taking in the night view of Susukino, adding to the fun and memories of your ski trip
