For two days, on Saturday, March 15th and Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort will be extending the opening hours of the observation terrace and cafe at "The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama," located in the middle of the ski resort, until night skiing hours.The observation terrace and cafe will be open for the "Snow Fireworks & Night Terrace" event, where you can enjoy fireworks on the snow along with the night view of the city lights of Minamiuonuma City from the observation terrace!
■ The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama: A place for all-day fun for both skiers and non-skiers
The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama is a view spot that opened in 2022 halfway up Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. Located about a seven-minute gondola ride from the foot of the ski resort, it features a stylish cafe, a dome tent with a photogenic private space, and a snow play area, all centered around the iconic observation terrace. Even those who aren't good at skiing or snowboarding can fully enjoy the charm of Niigata's natural snow
This event is not only perfect for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy after-ski time, but also for those visiting Niigata for snow-viewing sightseeing. Guests can enjoy the night view and fireworks from the observation terrace at night, which is something they would not be able to experience during normal business hours
