During the summer season, Kagura Ski Resort covers some of its courses with "PISLAB," a next-generation snow mat that looks like real snow, and is bustling with skiers and snowboarders every day for summer training. On August 26th, the resort will host the "Kagura Pislab Festival Summer Ski Skills Championships."
This memorable first event is produced by Ozaki Junji, Naganuma Shoma, and Kuwahara Ryuji, who are active in the All Japan Ski Technical Championships. It is a summer technical championship that will be held exclusively on Kagura's summer slopes. There are three events: general downhill, tight turns, and rough terrain, and three athletes will be judging. There are four classes for participants: university men's and women's divisions, and general men's and women's divisions including juniors. Winners may get a luxurious prize from the sponsoring manufacturer!
