A talk show and party hosted by professional skier Takeshi Kodama, titled "Skiing the Earth Night," will be held on Saturday, November 23rd. The venue is "Ducca Sendai Ekimae Store" in Sendai, Tohoku.
The event will include a talk show summarizing the past nine Ride The Earth events, as well as a meet-and-greet with event participants and a raffle. Back issues of Ride The Earth will also be available for purchase on the day of the event. Purchased back issues will be delivered at a later date with Takeshi Kodama's autograph.
The reason for holding this event is to overcome the current situation where there are few ski events in Tohoku, despite the region having an abundance of snow and a large skiing population. It is hoped that this event will pave the way for many more events to be held regularly in the future
