There are probably many skiers who are concerned about time spent on the lift and think, "If only I could use this travel time to have a meal..." and some users who have thought, "I want to spend my special day on the lift looking at this spectacular view." A plan like this that never existed before, "Enjoy a meal on the lift," has been launched at Hakuba Alps Hotel in Nagano Prefecture
The new lift-based service, "Breakfast in the sky," will be implemented on the Alps 11th Pair Lift (commonly known as the Yamanokami Lift) at Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort. Starting in winter 2022, this lift will travel between altitudes of 1,133m and 1,598m, offering views of Hakuba Village, the Northern Alps, Mt. Myoko and Mt. Takatsuma in the Niigata area, and even the Sea of Japan. While gazing at the lush greenery of nature, which is different from winter, an original breakfast box and drink will be prepared for you. The lift ride takes about 18 minutes one way. You can relax and enjoy your meal in the private "flying restaurant" space on the lift

Enjoy the sunrise from the summit! Limited-time tour "Sunrise Lift"
Additionally, a limited-time tour called "Sunrise Lift" will also be available from the same day, using the summer lifts. This tour will take you on the "Alps No. 5 High-Speed Pair Lift" and "Yamanokami Lift" in time for sunrise, allowing you to enjoy the sunrise from the summit. Coffee will also be served at the summit, making it the perfect way to wake up in the morning
