The number of stores offering the Montbell Water-Repellent Course has expanded to 10 nationwide!

The Montbell Water-Repellent Course, which can be used to maintain outdoor gear, was jointly developed by OKULAB Co., Ltd., a nationwide laundry service provider, and Montbell. Three new stores in Sapporo, Kobe, and Saitama have been added, bringing the total number of stores where the course can be used to 10 nationwide

■What is the "Montbell Water-Repellent Course"?

The Montbell Water-Repellent Course removes dirt from outerwear and sleeping bags that have lost their water-repellent properties, then dries them after applying a new water-repellent finish. It's suitable for outerwear such as down jackets and rainwear, as well as sleeping bags (filled with feathers or polyester). Heating them in a dryer allows the water-repellent agent to set and become effective. Items whose water-repellent properties have worn off can easily be maintained at a laundromat, allowing you to extend the life of your beloved items

■Minimize the environmental impact of the washing process

The product uses the environmentally friendly PFAS-free Montbell Water Repellent (OD Maintenance Water Repellent). Taking into consideration the environmental impact of wastewater, the amount of water used is kept to a minimum, and a special rinse process has been added to ensure that the agent is distributed evenly across the laundry
