The "Shinshu Mori Festival! 2024" will be held over two days, June 29th (Sat) and 30th (Sun), at the Forest Hall, an annex of the Sugadaira Kogen Petit Hotel Zontack in Nagano Prefecture. The theme is "Forest Dwellers."
"Shinshu Forest Festival!" is an event that began in 2011 with the aim of giving people an opportunity to think about the relationship between forests and people, and about lifestyles connected to forests, while having fun in the forest. This year marks the 12th time the event has been held
The venue is Sugadaira Kogen Petit Hotel Zontack Annex Forest Hall. Admission is free on both days
The main venue will host talk shows and live music performances about nature and forests, while the adjacent outdoor plaza will feature performances such as South Indian Tamil folk dance and hula dancing.
Furthermore, on Sunday the 30th, Shinshu Pro Wrestling will hold a "Forest Festival Match," among many other exciting events.
A total of 29 sales and workshop booths are planned, including an exhibition of snowboards and wood cores from "GREEN.LAB." There will also be a booth selling Green Lab apparel such as organic cotton, and "LADE.SNOW," a custom-made beanie shop, will have a booth where you can order your measurements on the spot. There will also be a variety of booths, including a workshop where you can experience tree climbing using ropes
Additionally, there are 22 food booths, so you can enjoy delicious food between shopping and workshops.
Don't forget to bring your own chopsticks, cup, and bag to the venue.
