A mountain clean-up event where everyone who loves snowy mountains thinks about the future
Tokyu Snow Resort, in collaboration with Burton Japan and POW JAPAN, will hold a mountain clean-up event to consider the future of snow-covered mountains on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at five Tokyu Snow Resort facilities nationwide, as part of TokyuSnowResort's "Sustainability for Snow" initiative.
Under the slogan "Towards a world where we can play in snow forever," Tokyu Snow Resort is promoting activities to reduce the burden on the natural environment and pass on the rich snowy mountains to the next generation. This event, which is being held as part of these efforts, will be attended by over 100 staff members from Tokyu Snow Resort, Burton stores, and POW. Starting this year, the event will be held as a user-participation event, with the aim of fostering a stronger sense of community through interaction between both business operators and users and raising awareness of protecting the mountains and natural environment

Two of the five facilities (Tambara Ski Park and Ski Jam Katsuyama) will offer participatory experiences: Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu (Hokkaido), Hunter Mountain Shiobara (Tochigi Prefecture), Tangram Ski Circus (Nagano Prefecture),TambaraSkiPark(Gunma Prefecture), and Ski Jam Katsuyama (Fukui Prefecture).
At Ski Jam Katsuyama, event participants can enjoy a free experiential learning program called " Katsuyama Nature School ," which uses the field of "nature, environment, and topography" in the midst of nature to help them think about the formation of the Earth and the natural environment in a fun way using all five senses . Tambara Ski Park is also planning to hold an experiential program that encourages thinking about the natural environment.
