'AIR MIX' started in 2003 as a competition by riders for riders. Past winners include prominent figures such as Kazuhiro Kokubo and Takaharu Nakai, and it was held as a competition that brought together top-class riders in Japan, but it had not been held since 2019.
Now, AIR MIX is making a comeback after six years at Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain.
In addition to the impact of the previous AIR MIX "Fly Higher Than Anyone Contest," this year's competition is also called a "Style Battle," and it looks like it will be a competition where each rider's style will be more prominent, whether they fly high or slash

Takeru Otsuka
At the age of 17, he won his first X Games competition. He then became the first Japanese and youngest ever winner at the X Games held in Aspen, USA, achieving the feat of winning the world's top snowboarding contest for two consecutive years

Yuuki Omura
A snowboarder and videographer, he has attracted attention for his unique style
Raimu Katayama (Katayama Live)
He placed 7th in the halfpipe at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and then placed 2nd in the halfpipe at the subsequent BURTON US Open. He has now left the competition scene to pursue freestyle snowboarding. He is currently the most talked about man, having been the first Japanese to compete in the backcountry freestyle competition "NATURAL SELECTION 2024."
Yuri Okubo
Yuuri competed in Big Air and Slopestyle at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. He has now moved from the competition scene to backcountry skiing, honing his freestyle skills. With a unique, relaxed style, we wonder what kind of skating he will show us in Air Mix
Terje Haakonsen
Born in Vinje, Norway, he was active in competitions during snowboarding's heyday in the 1990s, and is one of the most influential snowboarders of all time, having won the US Open three times, the World Championship three times, and the Baker Banked Slalom seven times
Kazuhiro Kunimoto will be the judge!
The judge for this year's event will be the charismatic snowboarding figure Kazuhiro Kokubo! Kokubo has competed in numerous major contests and continues to influence snowboarders around the world with his unique style. He will be rigorously judging the riders' performances
In addition, the "MURASAKI AIR MIX SNOWBOARD Test Ride Event" will be held simultaneously with AIR MIX on March 8th and 9th. Approximately 40 popular domestic and international brands will be gathered. You can also participate in the test ride event by registering on the day
