The "Avalanche Training Course Winter Edition 2025," a seminar aimed at imparting avalanche rescue skills, will be held on Sunday, January 19th at Nango Ski Resort in Fukushima Prefecture. The
seminar will begin with a lecture on the science of snow and avalanche topography, followed by practical training on shoveling and propping on the snow.

■Participation fee: Tochigi/Ibaraki Mountaineering Federation: 8,000 yen
(participation fee for those not participating in the Tochigi/Ibaraki Mountaineering Federation is 10,000 yen)

・9:00 AM - 10:30 AM Lecture (Snow Science, Avalanche Topography, Airport Approach, Shoveling, Probing)

・11:00 AM - 3:30 PM 1. Shoveling 2. Probing 3. Avalanche Transceiver (Beacon) Training 4. Scenario Training
・15:30 PM - 4:00 PM Review and Disbandment
■Eligibility:
・Those with mountaineering insurance (mountaineering course) or other mountaineering insurance that covers a variety of mountaineering activities are required
*We recommend the " Nisankyo Mountaineering Insurance Association ." *Please be sure to bring proof of mountaineering insurance.
・Anyone aged 18 or over (Those under 20 years of age require parental consent.)
