POW JAPAN, an organization that takes choices and actions with a focus on a decarbonized society in order to protect natural fields from the climate crisis, has launched an action for the upcoming House of Representatives election.
Believing that "a major shift in societal direction is necessary to stop global warming, which is accelerating due to human activities, and politics holds the key to this,"
they have launched a campaign with the aim of increasing voter turnout and supporting political parties and candidates who are enthusiastic about climate change countermeasures.
Stickers will be produced and sent to individual supporters, and distributed at participating shops.
In addition, information on elections and the climate crisis will be disseminated on the POW JAPAN website'scampaign page, and the importance of elections and voting to "protect winter" will be conveyed through various content.
"How do each political party view the climate crisis, and what policies are they considering?Who are the candidates who are serious about our future and will take action?We hold the 'vote' that will determine what happens next."
