The government's "Go To Campaign" is aimed at revitalizing the economies of regions hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
One part of this campaign is the "Go To Travel Campaign," which began on July 22, 2020, with the aim of stimulating domestic tourism.
Until now, Tokyo was the only city that was excluded from the Go To Travel campaign due to the current situation regarding the spread of COVID-19. However, on September 15th, in light of the declining trend in the number of new infections, the government announced its intention to include "travel to Tokyo" and "travel by people who reside in Tokyo" in the Go To Travel campaign
Sales have begun for trips booked after noon on Friday, September 18th, departing on or after Thursday, October 1st. This
includes ski trips this winter. Be sure to check the websites of each travel agency!
