The "Go To Campaign" is a government initiative aimed at revitalizing the economies of regions damaged by the COVID-19 pandemic. The
"Go To Travel Campaign" is part of this initiative, launched on July 22, 2020, with the goal of boosting domestic tourism demand.
Until now, Tokyo was the only city that was excluded from the Go To Travel campaign due to the current situation regarding the spread of COVID-19. However, on September 15th, in light of the declining trend in the number of new infections, the government announced its intention to include "travel to Tokyo" and "travel by people who reside in Tokyo" in the Go To Travel campaign
Sales began on Friday, September 18th at noon for trips departing on or after Thursday, October 1st.
