Yuto Totsuka wins gold medal in halfpipe (HP)!

On March 13, 2021, YONEX rider Yuto Totsuka (19) won the gold medal in the halfpipe final held in Aspen, USA.
He demonstrated the skills that were expected of him. Be sure to check out the video to see his world-class pipe riding.

Yuto Totsuka started snowboarding at the age of two and obtained his professional qualification at the age of eleven.
He made a sensational debut in 2017, winning his first World Cup appearance, and went on to achieve the remarkable feat of winning the overall title for two consecutive seasons from 2017 to 2019. He
was expected to win a medal at the Pyeongchang Olympics but had to withdraw due to injury. However, he has since made a comeback and has achieved excellent results on the world stage once again.
This season, which is the preseason for the Beijing Olympics, he is on a roll, having won the opening World Cup event held in January.

Onitsuka Miyabi wins the bronze medal in the women's big air event!

 

In the women's big air event, Miyabi Onitsuka (Hoshino Resorts) won the bronze medal.
Kokona Murase also put up a good fight, finishing in 6th place. In the men's event, Ryuki Tobita and Kaito Hamada finished in 4th and 5th place respectively. They came just short of the podium, but put up a great fight.
