One of the fastest natural snowfalls in Hokkaido

Nakayama Toge Ski Resort in Hokkaido opened for the season on Wednesday, December 2nd.
The opening was postponed due to a lack of snow, but snowfall made it possible for the resort to finally open.

As of Friday, December 4th (after 8am), Nakayama Toge Ski Resort currently has 80cm of snow, a temperature of -10℃, and it is snowing, making the slopes a bit foggy

Despite being located at an altitude of 830m, it is easily accessible from Sapporo in just 60 minutes. Despite its convenient location, the snow quality is high-quality powder, typical of Hokkaido.
Nakayama Pass is bustling with skiers and snowboarders who have been eagerly awaiting its opening every year, and this year's "first skiing" season has arrived once again.

Thorough preventative measures are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This season, admission will be restricted once the parking lot is full to avoid overcrowding.
