To commemorate this milestone, a special 40th-anniversary website was launched on April 1st, 2021 (Thursday),a 40th-anniversary commercial video,a retrospective of the past 40 years, and a poster exhibition. ■Rusutsu Resort
Rusutsu Resort, owned and operated by Kamori Kanko, is one of Hokkaido's largest all-season resorts, located approximately 90 minutes from Sapporo's New Chitose Airport and surrounded by Shikotsu-Toya National Park. It boasts 37 courses across three mountains, a total skiable distance of 42km, occupying 1378 acres, four gondolas, and 14 lifts. With an average annual snowfall of 14m (45 feet), it's one of Hokkaido's largest ski resorts, consistently accumulating high-quality powder snow. Theresort's attractions include beautiful forest scenery on the slopes and magnificent views of Lake Toya and Mount Yotei力で、as well as a wide range of snow activities such as dog sledding and snowmobiling. Furthermore,four golf courses, an amusement park with approximately 60 attractions,two hotels (Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention and The Westin Rusutsu Resort), and 14 log cabins and cottages. In December 2020, the condominium-style premium hotel"The Vale Rusutsu" also opened.
