OKUMINO HEADZ, a freeski crew based in the Okumino area of Gifu Prefecture, will be holding the freeski event OKUMINO HEADZFES 2026 at Washigatake Ski Resort for two days on March 7th (Sat) and 8th (Sun), 2026
This event, which began last year, is not just a competition to test skills, but is also designed to boost Japan's freeskiing scene through interaction between riders and the promotion of culture
The two-day event will consist of two parts: "HEADZSESSION," where you can jam with the crew while riding around the park, and "JIBFES," a team competition overflowing with creativity
- DAY 1: HEADZ SESSION (Park Session Format)HEADZ, stationed in each section, will distribute tickets to participants who perform outstanding runs, and awards will be given based on the number of tickets collected.
- DAY2: JIBFES (Team Jib Session)A team competition where teams of three compete. Not only technical skills, but also teamwork and style will be put to the test in this exciting session typical of Okumino.
Additionally, on the first night of the event, the Eiger Magic Cafe inside Washigatake Ski Resort will be rented out for an afterparty (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
