With an impressive base elevation of 1,500m and a peak of 2,000m, Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort boasts a large amount of snow and outstanding snow quality. It is also known as one of the few ski resorts in Shiga Kogen that operates using 100% natural snow. The resort offers a wide variety of slopes, from steep, ungroomed slopes where you can enjoy dry powder overhead after a snowfall, to courses where you can enjoy tree riding with beautiful views, and a long course that stretches 2.2km in length
