①Otaru Tenguyama Ski Resort: Approximately 10 minutes by car, approximately 25 minutes by local bus
Tenguyama is a symbolic place beloved by the people of Otaru. Located on its slopes, you can get a panoramic view of Otaru Port and Ishikari Bay. Night skiing is especially enjoyable
② Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort:Approximately 20 minutes by car, or 1 hour by local bus.
From the summit you can see the Sea of Japan and Otaru Port, and on clear days you can enjoy an exhilarating ride while looking down at the blue ocean. There is also a wide range of rental equipment available
③Snow Cruise Ons: Approximately 25 minutes by car
The spectacular views of Ishikari Bay and the Shokanbetsu Mountain Range are a highlight, and there is a viewpoint where you can see the city lights in the distance during nighttime skiing
④ Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort: Approximately 30 minutes by car. Ski bus service is scheduled to begin this year (unconfirmed)
This popular ski resort boasts consistent snowfall and snow quality. Its vast slopes and longest course (up to 3.6km) are major attractions. From the mountaintop, you can enjoy views of the sea off Otaru.

⑤ Kiroro Snow World: Approximately 40 minutes by car, ski bus available (fee required)
Boasting some of the world's best snowfall and snow quality, this resort offers some of the finest powder snow in Hokkaido. A variety of activities, including tubing, are also available.
Lift tickets and rental tickets can be purchased at the front desk, allowing you to start skiing as soon as you arrive.
⑥ Sapporo Teines: Approximately 50 minutes by car
Enjoy the beautiful views of Sapporo city and Ishikari Bay, as well as powder snow. The vast backcountry area that spreads out beyond the summit gate is popular with freeride enthusiasts for its interesting snow quality and terrain
