OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts, located in the inner city of Otaru, Hokkaido, is holding a night-only event called ``Light Otaru Night Lounge''. Oil lamps are lit in the hotel, which is a renovated historical building, and an antique music box is played to the public.

The event has been held since September 2023 in Otaru, a popular tourist destination close to the ski resorts and Kiroro resorts in the Sapporo suburbs, and is a perfect way to spend your after-ski days. The event was held at OMO Cafe & Dining, a renovated former Otaru Colloquium Chamber of Commerce.The entire space was lit with oil lamps from Otaru's long-established brand Kitaichi Glass, and the space was decorated with classic design tablecloths and cushions. You can spend an elegant time in this cozy space while watching the flickering of warm flames.
The public performance of an antique music box made over 100 years ago will be held in cooperation with Otaru-based Music Box Hall, and will feature a disc music box that has been used for live performances in restaurants and bars since ancient times. The music selection is classical music. One of the ways to enjoy it is not only to enjoy the sound created by the deep bass and sparkling high tones like a bell, but also to listen to it while thinking about the design and history of the aircraft.
Also, from April 1st, the food menu will be renewed with new additions. A new ``Otaru Enjoyment Plate'' will also be introduced, which is an arrangement of popular menu items from nearby restaurants.
