The Gujo City Outdoor Business Association, in collaboration with Chubu Snow Alliance Co., Ltd., which operates "Dynaland," the first ski resort in Gifu Prefecture to operate using 100% renewable energy last year, and Protect Our Winters Japan (POW JAPAN), will hold " Daisetsu Gujo 2026 " at Takasu Snow Park in Gifu Prefecture from March 20th (Fri) to 22nd (Sun), 2026.
With the slogan "Gujo needs winter," this event will feature POW JAPAN and include riding sessions, talk sessions, a rock-paper-scissors tournament, and more. It aims to provide an opportunity for attendees to enjoy themselves while considering the impact of climate change on Gujo's winters and ski resort operations, and what actions can be taken in the future. The talk sessions will also include the sharing of specific data on the impact of global warming on ski resort management

Additionally, for three days during the event, three facilities—Takasu Snow Park, Dynaland, and Washigatake Ski Resort—will operate using CO2-free electricity from " Gifu Seiryu Green Denki ." During this period, there will also be a promotion where customers who donate 500 yen as a lift ticket deposit will receive a limited-edition sticker.
