Avalanche beacons are one of the "three sacred treasures" of snowy mountains. PIEPS is hosting a workshop using these beacons at three locations in Hokkaido, Tohoku, and Kanto. The workshop will cover the basics of avalanche beacons, basic search methods, and even the performance of ProIPS
This year, participants are welcome to participate, regardless of their level of knowledge about beacons, from those who want to try backcountry or snowy mountain climbing, to those who have one but are having trouble using it, to those who want to deepen their understanding. Although registration is required, participation is free. Why not take this opportunity to gain solid knowledge so you can use it effectively in any situation?
