The second POW action in relation to the 2023 unified local elections will be a talk session on the theme of "Local Government and Urban Development." Before that, why not join us for a fun spring ride around Nozawa Onsen? To that end, a riding session will be held with POW ambassadors. Kenji Kono, who will also be speaking at the talk session, will be joined by ambassadors active across Honshu
Is global warming to blame for this year's early snow melt? Will we be able to enjoy snowy mountains in the future? How can we pass it on to the future? Come ski with the ambassadors and share your thoughts
After the riding session, a talk session will be held with the riders. Ueno Yudai and Kono Kenji, who are riders but also actively involved in local government and urban development, will be speaking on themes such as the "challenges" and "possibilities" they have encountered while actually working in government, and "things they want everyone to know."
No advance reservations or participation fees are required for either event. The talk sessions will also be streamed live on Instagram. Even if you can't make it to the venues on the day, why not tune in from your own location?
