"POWDER FREERIDE," Japan's most traditional and free-spirited freeride competition, has garnered a large following and many repeat attendees. This season, the event will be further upgraded with the addition of new members to the management team, including the BONZ crew.
While the competition will primarily focus on showcasing powder riding skills and style, there will also be demo and fitting sessions for freeride gear and a lecture by POW JAPAN on the day of and the day after the competition. In addition, there are plans for sessions where you can ride with famous riders.

Eligibility: All genres welcome (skiing, snowboarding, telemark, monoskiing, etc.)
Participation Fee: On-site payment / Adults: 5,000 yen / Elementary school students: 3,000 yen
Online reservation / Adults: 4,000 yen / Elementary school students: 2,500 yen

●Freeride Test Ride Event:
Take advantage of the peak powder season for a practical test ride and receive firsthand information and advice from pro riders.
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Participation Fee: Competition Participants: Free (Bib required)
General Participants: 1,000 yen
●Freeride Session(16th only):
A session where you can ride with professional riders, receive one-point advice, and watch their performances.
Approximately 10 people will be guided by each rider.
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM / 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

General participants: 3,000 yen
●POW Talk
We welcome Mr. Goro Komatsu, representative of POW JAPAN, to discuss the impact of climate change on snowfall and the season, and how skiers and snowboarders can address and do about this issue. He will share insights into POW JAPAN's activities to date, and discuss topics that we want to consider together with everyone who loves winter, from children to adults.
