"God of Romance, is this the food?" Snowy mountain love comedy "Slope Meal" now airing!

Fall in love with food on the slopes without skiing! The completely original lifestyle drama "Slope Meals," which depicts a new way to enjoy snowy mountains, will start airing on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, on the MBS/TBS Dramaism slot!

resorts were once a sacred place for lovers when films like "Take Me to the Ski Slopes" and "I Want to Fall in Love So Much That the Slopes Melt" were released. Now in the Reiwa era, young people want to see the snow but don't like skiing... they don't want to bother changing clothes... they only want to go to clean and photogenic places... Taking these feelings into account, ski resorts have undergone a major transformation!? This romantic comedy introduces the dazzling world of "ski resort food," which is rapidly developing, with high energy.

The film stars Shirahama Alan, leader of GENERATIONS, who is also active in EXILE/PKCZ® while continuing to work as an actor in a variety of productions, and Yamamoto Mizuki, who debuted as an exclusive model for the magazine CanCam and has since appeared in numerous dramas and films as an actor. The cast also includes Kukkie! (Yoseibakudan), who has a unique presence as a comedian and is popular as an actor thanks to his unique sensibility, and Furudate Yutaro, who is active as a musician and actor. Hirose Kohmi, who sings the theme song "Romance no Kamisama", plays the owner of the bar "Romance"Furui GodKoigamiThis is the character's first appearance in a drama!

The first 30 minutes are a screening. The story progresses at a good pace, and the mood lifts every time the theme song plays. The last 30 minutes were a talk event. Hirose Kohmi, who thought she would only be performing the song but was half-tricked into appearing, said, "I only have my own lines in the song, but the script had lines for many people, so it was a different challenge than singing. I don't think I'll be appearing in any more dramas," but according to the other cast members, she acted as the facilitator on set

There was also a segment where the cast members suggested their "dream ski slope meal," with each giving a unique answer such as "iron pot gyoza," "Jiro-style ramen," and "salmon sashimi," but Cookie was the only one who chose "ski sushi," a worldview that ordinary people would never understand. Looking back on the filming, Cookie said, "Apart from the two main actors, no one else got to eat ski slope food and we were starving," and "Smoking cigarettes on a snowy mountain was delicious." She also said that when watching the drama, you should watch it on an empty stomach and in a cold room

The first episode is set at Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture. ~Synopsis~
26-year-old Shohei Yano is an assistant producer (AP) at a TV station. He's not great at his job, but he's an exceptional snowboarder. He falls in love at first sight with a mysterious beauty, Yuki Hirose, whom he meets at the bar "Romance." However, being shy, he can't confess his feelings. Thanks to the manager, Aitaro, Shohei gets through to the owner, Furui Jin, known as the "God of Romance," by phone and receives advice, which allows him to ask Yuki out on a date. On the weekend they head to a ski resort that Yuki had in her guidebook, but what awaits them there is not a romance between lovers, but a dazzling romance of food...!!
