The challenge of supporting young freestyle skiers with equipment
FACTION and PHAENOM will become official registered brands of the Official Supplier of the Ski Association of Japan (SAJ) from August 2025. The registered events are halfpipe (HP) and slopestyle (SS). The aim is to support young Japanese freestyle skiers aiming for the Olympics and international competitions with equipment
This registration was made possible by both brands' strong desire to provide a better gear environment for athletes who continue to challenge the world. FACTION and PHAENOM currently support promising riders who will lead the next generation, such as Hoshino Kouga, Sugawara Nozomi, Nichols Kouri, and Ito Ruya
"Equipment is an important means of expression for athletes to express their will on the snow." Both brands aim to accompany athletes not only in their competitive abilities, but also in their pursuit of the culture and lifestyle of skiing, helping them to venture out into the world freely and in their own way
