On the day of the event, clean-up activities and talk shows will be held
"JUMP for The Earth PROJECT" was launched by ski jumper Sara Takanashi with the desire to preserve the beautiful natural beauty of snowy mountains for future generations. With the guiding principles of "interacting with nature," "learning from nature," and "protecting nature," the project will hold a clean-up event in Zao as its first step. Zao is a place that holds a special place in Takanashi's heart, as it is where she won her first World Cup in 2012 and set a new ski jump record of 106 meters in the women's ski jump
At "Trekking & Clean Action in Zao," Takanashi will take part in clean-up activities alongside other participants. There will also be a talk show on climate change issues with guest Rika Sueyoshi (Representative Director of the Ethical Association), and a selection of other activities, including a meal of imoni made by staff from Japan's No. 1 Imonikai Festival
