Yu Sasaki is a professional skier who, thanks to the Freeride World Tour, has been competing alongside the world's top riders. Although he has now retired from the competition scene, he continues to use his experience to express freeriding through his videos
He will teach us the skating techniques he has developed over the years
Freeriding requires the skill to instantly read all changes in the terrain and snow quality and handle your skis. It's important to stay directly above your skis in order to always read ahead and respond flexibly to what's happening directly below your skis. Target skiers: Intermediate level and above (juniors are also welcome)... able to ski on uneven terrain and tree runs within the ski resort without problems, able to ski in fresh snow without getting stuck multiple times, and have the stamina to ski for a full day.

"This is the first time we've held a ski division. It all started with the relationship between our school's vice principal, professional skier Takafumi Konishi, and professional skier Yu Sasaki. They've been skiing together for many years, so I think it was one of the many things they talked about
We are excited to have some super professional skiers participate in our first ever ski division
Whether you're a skier or a snowboarder, you can see that his skiing is top-notch. I see him that way too; above all, I sense strength in him, but also a delicate touch.
Having worked as a professional myself in the past, I can understand a little about the points he chooses, his speed, and his physical condition. That's why he can execute those points with that intensity... I sometimes wonder what his daily life is like...
Even I feel this way, so everyone who attends will be able to see Sasaki Yu's skating right in front of their eyes, follow him, and get advice. I think the time spent with him, who is usually based in Revelstoke, Canada, will be extremely valuable
