Just thinking about what kind of runs there are available and how many lifts there are gets our hearts racing. Ski maps are like treasure maps, and they make our eyes sparkle. The day I bought my ski wear and equipment, I couldn't stop feeling excited. When I closed my eyes, I could see myself kicking up pure white snow and carving tracks at breakneck speed like an alpine skier. I was sure my next ski trip would be a wonderful memory. I had better get to bed early, or I'd miss the meeting tomorrow!!

A row of unfamiliar old stone towers stand. Behind them rises a shining mountain covered in white snow and glaciers. It was a spectacular exotic landscape that caught my eye one day. I couldn't get it out of my head. Skiers were skiing at breakneck speed down the steep slopes, sending up huge sprays of snow. It seemed like even the slightest misstep would send them plummeting into a crevasse in the glacier. The place was the Caucasus Mountains, a chain of peaks reaching heights of over 4,000 meters in the Eastern European country of Georgia. The sight of these mountains captivated me. After 10 years of wishing to visit someday, I finally set off on a journey to this enchanting land with my ski equipment.
