The photo book "Still, We Go" was produced based on a trip to Iceland that took place in March of this year. Marriage, work, the future of life - as she entered her 30s and faced each of these choices, the book expressed her desire to "never give up on challenges."
This trip began with a casual remark from Momoyo Sonozaki , with Remi Kusunoki taking the helm to make it a reality, and then Yui Ohno joining them. Photographer Aya Futagi captured the journey of these three close female skiers. Over 19 days, they traveled almost the entire length of Iceland, and the resulting photographs are full of captivating images, including fantastical shots that make you feel like you've "landed in outer space," unique to Scandinavia.
This book is not just a travelogue or a collection of ski photos, but a photo story that follows three people taking a step forward despite their anxieties and doubts. It contains a message for everyone standing at a turning point in their lives. The release date is October 18th, but pre-orders have already begun on the dedicated page of the online shop BASE
In conjunction with the publication of the photobook, a preview tour of a video work documenting this Iceland trip, filmed by Hiroyuki Nishio , has been announced. It is planned as an opportunity for the audience to share time directly with the group. Admission is free for all screenings
