The Education Division of the Telemark Ski Association of Japan (TAJ) will hold the "Telefes 2026 GETO Technical Contest & Workshop" at Geto Kogen Ski Resort in Iwate Prefecture for two days from Saturday, March 14th to Sunday, March 15th, 2026
This event is a must-see festival for all telemarkers, as it goes beyond simply pursuing technique and places emphasis on the exhilaration of group skiing and the building of a community among telemarkers
will be guest rider Kufune Anaida , a former Telemark WC racer who is currently leading the scene as a SAJ national demonstrator

Not only will Anada be the judge and frontrunner for the contest, but he will also personally teach new generation telemark methods such as "running long turns" and "sharp short turns" in the workshop on the second day. This will be a rare opportunity to experience up close the dynamic turns that are the result of extraordinary physical ability
