THE NORTH FACE Athlete Kazushige Fujita's talk show "LAY BACK" will be held on October 25th

"LAYBACK" - The word "laid back" is derived from the phrase "laid back" and refers to the act of letting yourself flow and creating a fun place or time. As the name suggests, the destination for today or tomorrow is not yet decided. Entrust yourself to the local people, the weather, and your mood that you meet at that time, and enjoy the moment to the fullest

A special movie documenting THE NORTH FACE Athlete Kazushige Fujita's "LAY BACK" journey—a trip to unfamiliar lands filled with encounters and discoveries through snowboarding—will be screened, along with a talk show about the journey, on October 25th at THE NORTH FACE Mountain [MAP].
The guests will be film director Yuta Watanabe and snowboard magazine DIGGIN' MAGAZINE editor-in-chief Die Go.

[LAY BACK]
A new freestyle snowwear collection, 'LAY BACK', designed for all riders who enjoy playing in the snow, will be launched this fall/winter season.

[Kazushige Fujita Profile]
Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1988. He started skiing in elementary school and then switched to snowboarding. His interest in freestyle grew, and in 2009 he made his debut at "The Slope" and won, instantly becoming the focus of media attention. After that, he entered the world of freeride. His unique style of gliding smoothly across the snow is his trademark. He also takes videos and photographs with his own camera, and his activities are diverse, including guiding services "SNOWSURF HAKUBA" and PR for winter brands.

[Yuta Watanabe Profile]
Representative of Denpa Inc. / Film Director. Originally a THE NORTH FACE Athlete, he was active in snowboarding mainly in the Canadian backcountry scene. After that, he transitioned to film directing. He aims to create works that deepen the connection between nature and people. In the past, he directed the THE NORTH FACE documentaries "Holocene" and "The Kingdom Of Snow," both of which were selected for the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

[Die Go Profile]
Editor-in-chief of the snowboard magazine "DIGGIN' MAGAZINE". Based in the Kanto region. In addition to publishing three issues a year, he also started directing the sister magazine "DIGG", which focuses on youth culture, two years ago. For 25 years, he has continued a lifestyle of chasing deadlines and low pressure systems, yet he still travels around areas close to snowboard fields all over Japan during the winter, rarely returning to Kanto, making him an extremely specialized, field-oriented average snowboarder.
