The upgraded Tomamu Ice Village will open on December 10, 2025

Ice Village is a town made entirely of ice and snow that appears only on winter nights. This Tomamu winter spectacle, which features 11 ice and snow domes, including an "Ice Bar" and an "Ice Restaurant," will open on December 10th in an even more powerful version this year.

The Ice Church, which has hosted over 660 weddings in the past 20 years, has been renovated

The Ice Church is a special church that appears for about a month in the winter. Since its opening in 2005, over 660 couples have held their ceremonies there.

The church was made from a single, seamless piece of ice, with the hope that the couple's pure feelings will continue uninterrupted. Everything, from the altar and cross to the aisle and chairs, is made of ice and snow. The highly transparent ice created by the harsh winter climate reflects light, and the entire space is enveloped in a fantastical light known as "ice blue."

This year, to commemorate the 20th anniversary, a new design has been implemented, allowing guests to surround the bride and groom in 360 degrees. This creates a moving wedding style that creates a sense of unity while being watched over by the guests. Anyone can visit during the opening period.
