Registration for the "2026 BANKED SLALOM TGK supported by Gyunyu Sekken" banked slalom event at Tsugaike Mountain Resort began on March 9th
The "NORTH ALPS BANKED SLALOM," Japan's only banked slalom series, will be held in the Hakuba area of Nagano Prefecture. The
series consists of three races held at Hakuba Iwatake, Tsugaike, and Hakuba Happo-one, with rankings determined by overall points. The second race will be held at Tsugaike Mountain Resort . Competitors will race down the "Hannoki Special Course," which makes the most of the mountaintop area, and compete for the best time.
The top six in each category will be awarded prizes, and there will also be special prizes for those who skipped certain categories. In addition, in the snowboard division, the winners of each age and gender class will receive a season pass valid at all three mountains for the next season.
Banked slalom is a competition that tests the fundamental elements of skiing on snowy mountains: "skill in controlling the skis" and "speed." Beyond simply competing for rankings, the event aims to encourage participants to enjoy confronting their own skiing techniques, foster interaction among participants, develop snow sports culture, and revitalize the Northern Alps area

This season, in addition to the snowboard division, new ski, snowbike, and parent-child divisions have been added. The event has also been extended to two days, with a capacity of 260 participants each day. The scale has been increased to make it more accessible to a wider range of people.
Furthermore, starting this season, "Milk Soap" has become the main sponsor, and the event will be held with the support of many major manufacturers, including Red Bull Japan.
Please note that there will be no on-site registration; pre-registration is required. Registration by Sunday, March 22nd offers a discount, so we encourage you to register as a way to conclude the season or to test the results of your training
