Experience exhilarating inspiration at an altitude of 1,900m! "Tsugaike Mystery Solving Trekking" starts in summer 2026

Hakuba Valley is one of Japan's leading snow resorts. Its excellent green season offerings have also become widely known, making it a popular summer getaway and travel destination even for those who don't ski or snowboard

Among them, Tsugaike Kogen offers the unique opportunity to reach an altitude of approximately 1,900 meters in one go by taking a gondola and then a ropeway

The climb to the summit offers a breathtaking panoramic aerial stroll
In autumn, you can also see "three-tiered autumn leaves."

Beyond that lies Tsugaike Nature Park, one of Japan's leading high-altitude wetlands, located within the Chubu Sangaku National Park, which spans four prefectures: Nagano, Niigata, Toyama, and Gifu. Spanning approximately 100 hectares (equivalent to about 21 Tokyo Domes), the park boasts a diverse array of alpine plants in full bloom, offering magnificent views of the Hakuba Sanzan mountain range and the Hakuba Daisekkei, one of Japan's three great snow valleys. This summer, a new interactive experience has been created in this breathtaking setting

The fact that you don't need full-fledged mountaineering equipment is a big plus
You can enjoy hundreds of different kinds of flowers

A new outdoor activity: puzzle solving combined with trekking

"Tsugaike Mystery Solving Trekking - The Mystery of a Stroll Around Tsugaike Nature Park with the Ringing Bell" is a new interactive content created jointly by the Nagano student group "Nekkoko!", OMOMO Co., Ltd., which handles experiential events, and Tsugaike Mountain Resort

Participants, kit in hand, will explore spots within the nature park, solving story-driven "mysteries" as they stroll. This unique outdoor experience allows you to enjoy both the exhilaration of "aha!" moments and "spectacular views from an altitude of 1,900m" at the same time. Those who solve the final mystery will receive an exclusive, limited-edition original sticker
