Tsugaike Mountain Resort, whose opening had been delayed due to insufficient snowfall, has opened for business on Monday, December 1st, 2025, following improvements in slope conditions.
To commemorate the opening of the slopes and the start of the season, for one week until Friday, December 5th, a one-day pass will be available at a special price: 4,900 yen for adults (normally 8,200 yen) and 3,100 yen for children (elementary school age) (normally 4,900 yen). Furthermore, for the following week until Friday, December 12th, a special season-opening price will also be available (6,100 yen for adults / 3,800 yen for children).
The skiable course is located at the top of Tsugaike at an altitude of 1,700m, on the "Tsuganomori Slope", which is surrounded by virgin forest and offers a mountainous atmosphere and great views.
Restaurants, rentals, and shops are open, but the foot bath, a specialty of Tsugaike Yokocho at the foot of the mountain, is currently in preparation.

*Notes: Currently, there is insufficient snow cover in some areas of the slope, and there is a risk of damage to skis and snowboards in areas with uneven ground, exposed pebbles and bushes. Please check the course conditions and exercise caution.
