Patagonia is currently hosting a snow repair tour as part of its "Worn Wear" circular service, which reduces environmental impact by allowing customers to use products for longer periods, starting March 14, 2026 (Saturday). This tour is in support of the Sustainable Resort Alliance (SRA), run by POW Japan (Protect Our Winters Japan), which continues to work to protect winter from global warming. The tour will visit ski resorts in Niigata and Nagano prefectures that operate with environmental considerations in mind, and will conclude at Washigatake Ski Resort, Dynaland, and Takasu Snow Park in Gifu prefecture

"Worn Wear" is more than just a repair service. It's Patagonia's answer to the waste problems and CO2 emissions plaguing the apparel industry: "Buy less, repair more, and pass on what you no longer need to someone else."

The Repair Tour includes not only repairs by expert staff, but also workshops where you can learn how to care for your gear yourself, as well as a sale of carefully selected used Patagonia clothing

At the venue, you can enjoy the following four contents:

  • Quick Repair: We repair sewing machines of any brand, not just Patagonia products, and return them the same day.
  • Self-Repair: A workshop where you can experience the joy of repairing things yourself, such as applying repair patches or replacing buttons and strings.
  • Used Clothing Sales: We sell functional and durable used Patagonia clothing collected through our Worn Wear program.
  • Snow Activism Booth: Introducing the initiatives of the SRA (Sustainable Resort Alliance). Providing an opportunity to think about what you can do as a skier.

The operating hours are the same every day: 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM (last repair acceptance is at 2:30 PM)

During these three days, three ski resorts will operate with CO2-free electricity for lifts, lighting, and other equipment. In addition, POW JAPAN will have a booth, and there are plans to hold riding sessions and talk sessions featuring Rita Asahi, representative of Rhythm Works and a mountain guide, as a guest rider.
