"Play in the Snow" was held in July last year and was a huge success with many visitors. Now in its 11th year, the event involves placing 40 tons of natural snow in the plaza at the west exit of Ebina Station, adjacent to LaLaport Ebina, allowing children to have fun playing with the snow
The snow used for the event falls in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, and is transported from a location where it is kept in a snow room, a traditional method of preserving snow that does not require electricity
The event will feature a wide range of content, including a "Snow Plaza" where you can freely enjoy the vast snowy space, a "special sledding slope," and "corporate and store booths" with raffles and workshops
Now that playing in the snow has become a rare experience due to the effects of climate change, why not enjoy the incredibly cool and extraordinary experience of "playing in the snow in the middle of summer" with your family?
