The ultimate event combining snow, big air, and sled racing is coming to Joetsu!
Jumps! Speed! Laughter! Don't miss the hottest snow battle of this winter!
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the "Snowman AIR MAX ~A Bright Future with Snow~" event, co-hosted by the Joetsu Junior Chamber International and Cupid Valley, will be held at Cupid Valley Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture.
The main event will be the "Snowman AIR MAX" with a giant 15m big air jump, along with exciting water splashes and sled races. Food and drink booths and a DJ booth will also be set up at the venue. In addition, pork miso soup will be served free of charge (200 bowls), and Sochi Olympic ski halfpipe bronze medalist Ayana Onozuka will make a special guest appearance, making for a jam-packed event.
"Snowman AIR MAX," a competition featuring thrilling sessions on a specially constructed 15-meter spine-shaped air ramp, is a public-participation event where spectators vote to determine the winners. Participants are still being recruited for this big air competition. Skiers and snowboarders who think they have what it takes, please enter! There will be spectacular
jumps, fun and educational sled races, and plenty of other activities for everyone to enjoy. Challengers and spectators are all welcome! With
the weather generally stable during the spring season, let's create some unforgettable memories in Joetsu!
