K2 has released next-generation ski boots that use a "dual BOA" system with BOA dials on both the upper and lower shells. This innovative high-performance model combines unprecedented delicate fit adjustments with excellent power transmission performance, and is dedicated to skiers who do not compromise on slipping at all.
Fit can be fine-tuned
K2 is a ski brand founded in Washington, USA in 1962. We have created skis and boots that can be used in a wide range of skiing, from snow parks on the slopes to backcountry, and have been the first to incorporate the BOA® fit system for ski boots.
The characteristic of this system is that, rather than pressing it over the shell like a buckle, it is tightened so that the shell is wrapped around it with lace. The shell and cuff are tightly tightened in conjunction with each other, giving you a uniform fit that wraps around your entire foot.

For the 2024-25 season, the new Coaltex Zonal BOA dual BOA boots equipped with two BOA fit systems will be released. The upper and lower shells each have BOA dials, which have the advantage of being able to change the tightness of the instep and shins.
For example, if you want to tighten your boots firmly but your legs are getting swelled, you can fine-tune the fitting to suit the condition of the day, such as "just loosen the lower part."

The shell is wound flat, allowing the pressure to be evenly distributed, improving the contact pressure applied to the shin body and also suppressing shifting. In addition, the excellent heel hold improves power transmission and stability. It also improves control over switching edges, contributing to improved performance.
Designed with attention to detail

The unisex type "Colltex Zonal 140 BOA" is a high-end model with a newly designed mold. Only this model comes with a tech pin and also supports tech bindings. The liner that matches the boots is also well thought out, and uses the highly functional "Elite Fit Pro Liner" with foam ankle and heels and 3D shapes of tongues.

In addition, the Coaltex Zonal BOA has a lineup of 130 and 120 for men, and 125 W and 105 W for women. All BOA Duffit systems installed in these models are the latest "H+i1".

In traditional systems, you can release the dial by pushing it in and turning it to tighten the race, then pulling it up. If the boots were too tight, I had to release them and turn the dial again from scratch to retighten them. The latest "H+i1" can be loosened by turning the dial in the reverse direction, making it easy to adjust if you've over-tightened or want to loosen it a little.
Add the Coaltex Zonal BOA, which combines cutting-edge technology with a fit that is even better than ever before, and you can enjoy high performance from on-piste to untouched powder while maintaining a comfortable fit all day long.
