Breaking conventions and shaping the future.
"Phaenom" is a revolutionary ski boot born after four years of development. With two buckles and a patent-pending wide strap, it achieves an exceptional fit and nimble handling. It continues to evolve, with a new axis of "style x sustainability." What is this innovative new model that embodies the spirit of top riders such as Koga Hoshino and Antti Olila?
What is phaenom?
"Phaenom" is a coined word derived from the English word "phenomenon" (an amazing person, thing, or phenomenon), pronounced /fay'nom/. It is both a way of expressing an amazing person or act of nature.
The original background to the product development was an awareness of the challenges in product design in the outdoor footwear field, namely, that there were few freeski products that offered excellent performance, were recyclable, and had a great design.

Aiming to accelerate the transition to circular design and pioneer the future of product design, phaenom believes in "simplicity" and "intentional choice." Their philosophy resonates with the spirit of "wabi-sabi," which considers perfection to be achieved when nothing is left to be stripped away.
Furthermore, to put their philosophy into practice, they are a member of "1% for the Planet," donating 1% of their profits to nature conservation, and have obtained B Corp certification, awarded to highly public-spirited companies that prioritize the environment and society.
The black in phaenom has a meaning

The all-black design is not only visually stylish, but also encourages repair and reuse: even the buckles, straps and screws are designed from recyclable materials.
Key features include:
- All parts are recyclable
- Wide "Phaenom strap" that balances shock absorption and flex control
- Standard equipped with Phaenom x LENZ insole
- Hard sole and shoelace-type inner that eliminate the need for a footbed
- Adjustable tongue position, which is rare in freeski models
The design combines beauty, functionality, and recyclability to raise the bar for advanced freeskiers.
