The "TC Series" was developed to win the All Japan Technical Skiing Championships. Let's take a look at the updates for next season's featured competition model from the brand
What is the TC series?
The "TC = Technical Competition" category features a technical competition model ideal for skiers who want to perfect the quality and precision of their turns. Lighter versions and models for juniors aiming for technical competitions are also available. Uniquely, both the long-turn and short-turn skis use the same 65mm center width, allowing for consistent handling for both
In this season's technical competitions, many of the athletes using the equipment advanced to the Super Finals, and both men and women achieved impressive results, including winning medals
Let's take a look at the various technologies incorporated into each of these systems to keep up with the changing landscape of the increasingly fast-paced technical competition scene
Technical competition model for long turns "TC-L"
The "TC-L" is designed for skiers aiming for "faster, more dynamic, and more impressive skiing." Improved construction, flex, and torsion balance enhance stability, allowing skiers to focus solely on their performance

▶Technology
・4R(Multi Arc Jointed Curve)
This technology is also featured in the limited-edition premium "XX Series" models.
Its unique sidecut design, which connects multiple arcs, enables optimal control at every stage of a turn. At the start of a turn, you can quickly point the board towards the fall line, allowing for dynamic, wide turns towards the next point.
・BIAS REINFORCE MATERIAL
By arranging fiberglass fibers diagonally, the ski exhibits torsional strength that can withstand high-speed turns
Dynamic Tail
The tail shape allows for precise speed control during carving turns, as well as effortless skidding. The angled edge increases the contact surface of the edge with the snow, improving edge grip and accelerating the ski when released
In addition, it features "Front Lead Function," which enables smooth and quick edge angle adjustment and produces flexible flex, and "Front Float System," a front rocker shape that disperses snow surface resistance at the top. The interaction of these two features enables stable and smooth turns. This technology is also used in models designed for short turns
Technical competition model for tight turns "TC-S"
The concept is simply "easy skiing." The idea is that as long as you maintain a center position and edge angle, turns will be completed automatically. The skis don't over-rotate, allowing for sharp turns while descending vertically

▶Technologies included only in the "TC-S" model
SLIT TECH
This technology is featured in the premium model "KS-XX". By making vertical cuts in the metal, it achieves both high operability and sharpness
Metal Tip Protector
The ski tips are covered with metal. This reduces weight and suppresses vibrations in the tips while skiing
The new generation plate system "SRED"

In addition to the technology incorporated into the ski itself, the innovative plate that replaces the conventional "SR585" is also noteworthy. It maximizes the ski's inherent flex and supports faster contact with the snow surface, thereby reducing the skier's workload
The most distinctive feature is the "Flip Guide," which allows for a variety of settings thanks to its forward and backward-moving guide mechanism. There are two settings: one for tight turns, which is moved forward to maximize flex, and another for wide turns, which is moved backward to expand the front load area. It can be installed on models in the series such as TC, KEO'S, and TRIUN
