Why ICELANTIC is going all out on "All Mountain"

These meticulously crafted products are characterized by their unparalleled artistic design. All graphics have been created by artist Travis Parr since the brand's inception. Each season has a theme, and it's impossible not to be drawn into its unique world

The theme for ICELANTIC's 26-27 season is "simplicity." In today's world overflowing with goods and information, brand founder Ben Anderson wants to cherish the idea that "Less is More."

As a result, for the 2026-2027 season, they have deliberately narrowed down their lineup and will focus on the two categories in which the brand excels: "freeride" and "all-mountain."

"TORRENT" and "TEMPEST"in one device.

In pursuing the aesthetics of simplicity, we particularly focused on developing a new model for skiers who believe that "the slopes are still the main focus." This single ski allows you to ski happily all day long, regardless of snow conditions or slope type. The new models "TORRENT" and its women's version, "TEMPEST," announced for the 2026-2027 season, embody this ideal all-mountain ski

Its technology and performance

which took several years to develop, "TORRENT" and "TEMPEST,", are packed with the latest technology to maximize the enjoyment of skiing in all conditions on the slopes.

Unique structure and core material "V12 carbon matrix"

The core material uses a lightweight yet stable "poplar and birch wood core," achieving a smooth and balanced flex. Its most distinctive feature is the combination with the unique "V12 carbon matrix."

This results in powerful rebound, quick response, and high precision, providing a smooth and agile ride on everything from groomed slopes to moguls and rough snow surfaces

Directional rocker with ultimate operability

The profile incorporates a "directional rocker," which balances smooth turn initiation with stability, allowing you to feel confident even at high speeds and execute precise turns exactly as you intend

The "ancient wisdom" and aesthetics embedded in the graphics

An essential element when discussing ICELANTIC skis is the beautiful artwork by artist Travis Parr. The design theme for the new model is two iconic trees residing in a deep, pristine forest

TORRENT is adorned with bristlecone pine, a symbol of "unyielding spirit" and "ancient sages" that have lived for over 5,000 years. It somehow evokes images of Japan. And TEMPEST is colored with ginkgo. A familiar symbol of autumn, the ginkgo is actually a "living fossil" that has overcome the threat of extinction, and is a symbol of "tough vitality" and "regeneration."

This graphic, depicting trees enduring harsh natural environments and surviving with strength, will surely resonate with tough skiers who pursue performance in the rugged and challenging environment of snow-covered mountains

User reviews from test ride events

How does ICELANTIC's biggest topic for the 2026-2027 season, the new "TORRENT & TEMPEST" model, actually perform? We spoke to users who actually tried it out at the test ride venue

Koudai Aizawa (28), who test-rode the "TORRENT88" and "TORRENT102" at the "SKI DIG" test ride event held by STEEP on March 7-8, commented as follows:

"At first I thought the TORRENT88 would be a stiff board, but when I actually skied on it, I was surprised by how incredibly maneuverable it was. I was shocked!"

The TORRENT102 impressed me with its stability right from the moment I put it on. It's incredibly easy to maneuver when starting off. I felt confident and secure even on groomed or uneven terrain. The strong camber makes it easier to control, especially for those with more weight and muscle strength. I really love it!

With a big, happy smile, she took a commemorative photo with the staff

This is Takayuki Miyata, who test-rode the "TEMPEST 88" at a test ride event held by Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort on March 11-12. He is a staff member of "TEM RESCUE WAX, the wax that lets you ski across the earth."

"ICELANTIC skis look very sturdy, so I thought they might be heavy, but when I rode them, the swing weight was incredibly light and they were very easy to handle. They were very user-friendly. They're also flexible, so I think they'll be fun on mogul slopes and rough terrain. And above all, the design is fantastic. It has a very Japanese feel to it, and the Japanese atmosphere is wonderful!"

Although the TEMPEST is marketed towards women, it's actually a unisex design. Men can ride it without any problem if they like the graphics
