The "FACTORY" series is popular for its high versatility

"Extrem" products are created in their own factory in Åre, Sweden, by skilled craftsmen who pride themselves on their craftsmanship. 100% in-house product manufacturing is rare these days. It speaks volumes about the level of dedication and attention to detail in their manufacturing process

Among the Extreme series, the "FACTORY" series belongs to the freeride category and is designed as an all-mountain bike that can handle a variety of situations

It handles all terrains and snow conditions, striking a perfect balance between power and playfulness. From groomed runs to powder, backcountry, and touring, it can do it all with just one ski,"One-Ski Quiver(a ski that can handle any situation with just one ski). Its high versatility has made it a perfect fit for big mountains in North America, and it enjoys enthusiastic support.

Its capabilities are gradually becoming known in Japan, and the number of enthusiastic fans is increasing.
For the 2026-27 season, a completely new model, the "FACTORY 96," with a waist width of 96mm, has been added to this series, making it ideal for the conditions of Japanese ski resorts.

The "FACTORY 96" is an all-mountain ski that combines a freeride mindset with the versatility to handle any slope

In terms of materials, the wood core, a combination of poplar and beech, achieves a good balance of lightness and flexibility, strength and responsiveness, enabling powerful skiing. In terms of profile, the sidecut shape, which combines appropriate taper (a shape in which the width gradually narrows from near the point of contact with the snow towards the tip and tail) with rocker at the tip and tail, achieves a balance of quick turn initiation, reliable edge grip, and buoyancy in deep snow

The 96mm waist width allows for quick edge switching and provides a responsive feel. A major appeal is the intuitive operation, which is not found in the "102" and "112" models which have titanium in the foot area

Neither too wide nor too narrow, this perfectly balanced waist width allows for grippy, perfect carving turns on groomed slopes in the morning, provides the power to traverse rougher snow in the afternoon, and floats well and creates spray on fresh powder days. True to its multi-talented nature, this single board offers a variety of performances, and its colorful graphics also convey a sense of versatility

Graphics refreshed! FACTORY 102 & 112

The "102" and "112" models, continuing the series, retain their high off-road capability while featuring a top sheet with vibrant and iconic graphics. The distinctive design, characteristic of the Extreme series, offers excellent visibility in snowy mountains, making them stand out

FACTORY's reputation on SKI DIG

Extrem also exhibited at "SKI DIG," held in Hakuba on March 7-8, 2026. They showcased FACTORY's flashy graphics to users. It looked fantastic on the snow and received excellent reviews from users

Lego (right) from Vinter, which handles Extrem products, is also in high spirits. Yukihiro Fuyama, who is pictured with him, is a regular customer who also uses Extrem's "FINAL OPINION" and "FUSION105" products

"All of the Extreme boards have fantastic bases. They perform well in any conditions. Today I tried out the FACTORY, and while boards with metal in them tend to be stiff, the FACTORY is very flexible. Yet it also has great strength underfoot, making it easy to ski and perfect for aggressive riding!"

He commented. Will this be the third machine that Extreme uses?
