To enjoy the beauty and harshness of nature.
"PERMANENT UNION" is a brand created by listening to the insights and wisdom of snow mountain specialists.

Nature is wonderful
What is needed to further pursue this feeling that everyone has when they are fascinated by snow-capped mountains? It's not just skiing equipment that allows us to enjoy the endlessly beautiful, yet sometimes harsh, winter nature in this way. It's also clothing that withstands the cold, doesn't restrict any movement, and lifts your spirits when you wear it

Fullmarks' original clothing brand "Permanent Union" was launched in 2013. Its concept is as follows

Be at your best when you're in the mountains
I love spending quality time in the mountains, surrounded by nature. I'm a little proud of myself for being so engrossed in this kind of fun. That's why I want to wear the best clothing that lets me be myself and enjoy the mountains to the fullest

design and functionalityCombining
, and leading to reuse
Permanent Union is a brand born from incorporating feedback from specialists such as mountain guides and ski and snowboard riders, blending functionality for snowy mountains with a design that can be worn seamlessly in the city.
Since its inception in 2013, it has been loved by many skiers and snowboarders for its original style and high product quality. And this season, a new initiative called "reuse" has begun. The "button-down shirt" and "side-in pocket" introduced here are representative products of this initiative.
BUTTON DOWN SHIRT

The classic mid-layer
"button-down shirt" and "side pockets" have evolved.
Permanent Union's "Button-Down Shirt" and "Side-In Pocket" are classic mid-layer models that the brand has offered since its inception. These items have now received two updates.
First, the design. For the first time, the design was handled by Sami Tolppi, the former designer of "FRANK DANDY" (also carried by Fullmarks) and currently the art director and designer of Last Resort AB, a Swedish skate shoe brand that he started himself. The
button-down collar and stylish buttons on the cuffs give it an urban feel. As you can see, it's not just "wearable in the city without feeling out of place," but it's a stylish finish that stands out even in urban settings. With this, you'll still look cool even when you come down from the mountains and take off your shell jacket.

Reuse, not sustainability
The second evolution is the new fabric. This time, the jacket uses wool fiber fabric from Keshichi, a textile brand born in Bishu, Aichi Prefecture, one of the world's leading woolen textile producing areas. This maximizes the texture of the wool and makes it extremely comfortable to wear
"Kesana" is a fabric made with a 70% wool blend using Bishu's traditional recycling technique of "wool regeneration." It is a precious reuse material that requires a lot of time and effort, as old clothes are collected, each one is cut into small pieces by hand, and only the wool is extracted and turned into thread, which is then reborn as fabric

Finally, Mr. Sakizaki of PERMANENT UNION commented, "Our idea of sustainability is not about creating sustainable products, but about making things last. Rather than creating sustainable products, it's about giving life to things that need to be made sustainable. While we think about what kind of new things we should make, we also need to think about how to prevent the "things" we've created, which have now even made it into space, from destroying the Earth as much as possible. This is a difficult problem that we have to think about even more as people who make things, but we are doing what we can, little by little. In this case, the answer was "reuse." Making use of things that would otherwise be thrown away and adding value to them."
The Japanese sense of "mottainai" (waste not, want not) has led to environmentally friendly outdoor wear
