ARMADA STRANGER | A new style of all-round ski

A mix of carving, freestyle, and freeride characteristics. Armada's new ski, the Stranger, was born from this concept

STRANGER | Stranger
L=172, 180cm D=139-100-121 (180)
R=15.8m (180) W=2100g (180) 90,000 yen + tax

The name "Stranger" literally translates to "eccentric." This ski features a core made of lightweight poplar and a high-density ash stringer.
It has a 100mm waist width and deep sidecut, a straight-tapered edgeless butter zone in the nose, and a springboard tail with a rocker that makes it easy to pop, incorporating many of the features that have been included in previous Armada skis.

These features allow for easy turns and control. The deep sidecut makes initiating turns easy, and the soft flex makes finishing the turn easier. The nose, which shares the same design as Armada's legendary "JJ," provides more than enough buoyancy in powder.
"There has never been a ski that offers such high carving performance while being so easy to ski in powder. Normally, when skiing in fresh snow with a ski with a deep sidecut, the ski tends to get caught and is difficult to ski, but this ski has an exquisite nose and tail rocker design that makes it easy to ski." all-round ski, a new offering from a long-established freeskiing brand.
