With next season's models being announced one after another, some of you may have already tried out some of the models that caught your eye at test ride events.
For those of you who still want to know more about next season's information, we'll introduce some of the most noteworthy topics from each manufacturer for next season.
This time, we're featuring VÖLKL, which held a joint test ride event with the K2 Group and MDV at Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort on January 14th-15th.
What models will be released for the '23-24 season? We asked VÖLKL riders Hideaki Okada and Takumi Toyama about the models they're most interested in.
Introducing the REVOLT 114, a fat ski that performs well on hard slopes!
Volkl's "REVOLT" series is geared towards freestyle skiing. Next season, the REVOLT 114 will be released, a mid-range model between the ever-popular 104 and 121 models. While each model is suited to a variety of situations, the new model allows for even more precise use. With a slightly stiffer flex than the 121, it can also handle hard snow and uneven terrain. Rider Hidemitsu Okada has been riding this model since the beginning of this season, and it's his top pick for next season
If you want to do freestyle moves, this is it! "REVOLT 96"
Next up is the REVOLT 96. This model, the successor to the previous REVOLT 95, has been a hit in free runs, parks, and freestyle tricks. This time, the edges have been thickened, making it more durable for jibs. While it is stable, the suppleness of the tip and tail makes it a perfect match for more freestyle movements
Rider Takumi Toyama (Kinchan) recommends a length that is "your height or a little shorter." If you're interested, try it out at a test ride event
