Tanno Mikiya's setup
Reviewing the entire setup
What kind of places and situations is this setup intended for skating in?
Mikiya TannoA setup that can be used anywhere, from mid-season to late season, on the slopes, in powder, in the park, etc
Can you tell me why you have this setup?
Mikiya TannoThe great thing about this setup is that it can handle any condition. It's quite a hassle to change skis depending on the snow conditions that day. If you use the same skis, you don't have to change your skiing style and you can ski as usual. I like that I can just bring this one ski with me in the morning without any hesitation
Ski Impressions

What are your impressions of the performance and ride of these skis?
Mikiya TannoThe BACON is, in a word, a freestyle all-mountain ski. It's comfortable in powder, and the solid camber underfoot makes it great for on-piste riding. The twin-tip design makes it great for the park, and it also lets you perform freestyle moves in powder. The thinner nose and tail tips balance the swing weight, and the softer tail allows you to take advantage of the board's flex
What else do you like about the design or special features of these skis?
Mikiya TannoI like the green used on the topsheet, sidewalls, and sole because it stands out against the white snow
Who would you recommend these skis to?
Mikiya TannoFor those who find it difficult to buy two pairs of skis—one for groomed slopes and one for powder (or backcountry)—for one season.
For those who want to ski for an entire season with just one pair. For
those who do park riding but also want to ski in powder.
For those who simply want one pair of skis that can do everything.

Boots impressions

What are your impressions of the performance and comfort of these boots?
Mikiya TannoAlthough it has a walk mode, the lower and upper shells are well-composite, allowing for aggressive riding in parks and other areas. The three-piece construction provides a natural flex, making the ankles extremely comfortable. It's great for gliding on slopes and powder, as well as moguls. Tech bindings can also be used, making it a versatile pair of skis that can handle anything throughout the season
What else do you like about these boots, such as their design or special features?
Mikiya TannoIt comes with a Pro Wrap Tour inner, which has ankle tightening strings, which I like because it allows me to secure my ankles in place with the inner
Who do you think these boots are recommended for?
Mikiya TannoThis is a pair of skis that we recommend to those who want to be versatile and can handle everything from slopes to backcountry to parks without compromising on their skiing
Binding impressions

What are your impressions of the performance and feel of this binding?
Mikiya TannoThe secure hold of the separate bindings allows you to ride with confidence in any situation. It's also great that it can withstand jumps and hard movements
What else do you like about this binding, such as its design or special features?
Mikiya TannoIt comes in two colors, black and gray, and I like the sophisticated colors
Who do you think these bindings are recommended for?
Mikiya TannoRecommended for those who want to ride on the slopes as well as for those who want to do freestyle movements. It is also great for the hard forces that come with landing in parks and jumps!!
Where should you mount your bindings and why?
Mikiya TannoIt's 4cm from the center.
In my case, I've positioned it this way because I want to incorporate freestyle movements in any situation. I'm thinking about the balance between gliding performance and freestyle movements such as switch turns and jumps.
