A-CAD from THE NORTH FACE, worn by Olympian Akira Sasaki for two seasons. What is the reason for calling it "wear that allows me to be myself"?
The one that reminded me of the joy of “skiing”
The North Face snow ride category "Steep Series" developed for skiers and snowboarders who climb and slide on snowy mountains. The core of the hard shell is the waterproof breathable material "FUTURELIGHT" model that appeared in the 19/20 season. The biggest feature of "FUTURELIGHT" is its exceptionally high breathability [the effect of allowing air to flow back and forth]. A comfortable outerwear that you won't need to put on and take off throughout the day, even if you exercise a lot! A new material born to meet the needs of global athletes. FL A-CAD JACKET & BIB is the toughest and thickest in this series.

FL A-Cad Bibs

The North Face athlete Akira Sasaki, who has been wearing it for two years in the snowy mountains, talks about the appeal of A-CAD.
“I spent two seasons wearing this one, from Mt. Tanigawa, where the weather conditions are the harshest in Japan, to the slopes. , with outstanding breathability and flexibility, you can wear it all day long.”
Even if the place changes, the layering does not change. The inside of the A-CAD is always a simple combination of a merino wool base layer and a ventrix jacket. “I also wore the expedition model, which is more breathable, but layering was troublesome because I had to wear a down jacket because of the good ventilation (laughs). You can easily regulate your body temperature just by opening and closing the zipper.”
A-CAD has a deep pocket. From the provocative sliding that falls vertically of a former alpine racer, to the free-spirited line as a player, it supports a wide range. “Your clothing should not hinder your skating = expression. Be it physical or style. A-CAD expresses 100% of your skating and taught me the joy of skating again. It's the first one."
